Which way to Walsall A&E? Months later and sign still isn't fixed

So whereabouts is Walsall's A&E department?

If you were coming from the A4148 and to go the junction of Wolverhampton Road and Pleck Road then you would have a job finding it, thanks to a gap in a sign.

The sign on the junction shows drivers where to go for Walsall Station, the M6 and M5, Bescot Stadium, a park and ride car park and other options.

But no directions for the A&E department, which is just yards down Pleck Road.

The gap in the sign has been there since at least November 2015, where it is visible on Google Street View.

Pleck councillor Dennis Anson has raised the issue with the local authority and urged for the problem to be fixed as soon as possible.

He said: "We will need to put that right. I have spoken to the council and they are aware of the problem after seeing it on social media.

"They are dealing with it and it will be done as soon as possible.

"As a local resident I don't need to look at the signs but I can see how people coming from outside the borough such as Staffordshire would need directions."
