Two other people were injured in the accident on the A454 Bridgnorth to Wolverhampton Road in both directions at Swancote, outside the former Swancote Country Club, on February 24.

The crash involved a red Honda motorcycle, a black and grey Suzuki motorbike, a blue Toyota, grey Jaguar, black BMW and a silver and grey Isuzu motorbike.

One of the motorcyclists, a man in his twenties, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other motorcyclist, a man in his thirties, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Police are keen to speak to the driver of a dark coloured vehicle, possibly a Jaguar, that was travelling on the A454 at the time.

The vehicle in question is believed to have overtaken a blue Peugeot along a straight section of the road just prior to the collision and was likely to have been overtaken by the two motorbikes shortly before the incident.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or the circumstances leading up to it is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 622S of Wednesday February 24.
