A total of 10 jobs will be created at the branch – the second in the city – at the landmark office, retail and leisure development next to the bus and train stations.

Samantha Hixon, store manager, said: "We know students and Wolverhampton residents alike are keen to follow beauty trends so we think Superdrug will fit perfectly in the community."

The building sees 28,000 sq ft of office accommodation arranged over three floors, which sits above 12,400 sq ft of leisure and retail accommodation.

As well as Superdrug, Greene King will open a Hungry Horse pub restaurant.
