Greene King was the first confirmed tenant at the landmark building, close to the railway station.

It will open a Hungry Horse family-friendly pub restaurant on the ground floor.

And bosses have also confirmed it will open its doors on March 30.

The pub will be called Sunbeam in honour of the factory which built motorcycles in the city between 1890 to 1937.

Paul Garland, business development manager, said: "We are really excited to get our doors open and show the people of Wolverhampton their new pub.

"The Sunbeam will be the place that welcomes anyone looking to enjoy good quality, great value, food or drink in a fun and friendly atmosphere while they visit the city centre.

"We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with the council and help provide around 50 local people with employment."

Wolverhampton council will help the firm find the staff which will include cleaners and cooks.

A recruitment day for around 50 positions, including cleaners and cooks, is being held at Wolverhampton Adult Education Service centre, Old Hall Street, on February 3.
