Three teenagers arrested in connection with bulldog puppy theft

Three teenage boys have been arrested in connection with a Wolverhampton burglary where two French bulldog puppies were stolen.

Two 16-year-old boys from Wolverhampton and a 17-year-old youth from Dudley were arrested on suspicion of burglary on January 27 and have been bailed with conditions while police enquiries continue.

Officers are continuing to investigate the theft of the two white bulldog puppies from an address in Beccles Drive, Portabello on Friday, January 22.

Detective Sergeant Nicki Addison from Wolverhampton CID, said: "Our enquires are on-going and we continue to appeal for anyone with information about the break-in and whereabouts of the puppies to come forward.

"The puppies were seven weeks old when they were stolen and are too young to be parted from their mother. Anyone who has been offered these pups for sale should call us on 101 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111."
