Wolverhampton teenage girl missing after failing to come home from school

A teenage girl from Wolverhampton has gone missing after failing to return home from school.

Charlotte Nicholls, aged 14, was last seen at Dormston School, Mill Bank, Sedgley, at around 8.25am on Friday.

The youngster, from Woodcross, is 4ft 12ins, with dark brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, tracksuit bottoms, black trainers and carrying a small rucksack which may contain a blue coat with a fur hood.

Police say Charlotte could be in the Dudley area.

Pc Liam Mason, of Wolverhampton police, said: "Due to her age, Charlotte is considered to be vulnerable and we just need to know she is safe and well. I would urge anyone who sees her to call us on 101."

Information can be given anonymously to the Missing People charity on 116 000.
