Woman arrested at Chasewater Country Park in court charged with attempted murder after man, 71, found stabbed in Burntwood home
A woman has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after an elderly man was found stabbed at home in Burntwood.

Sonia Witton, aged 47, was arrested at Chasewater Country Park on Sunday after an incident at an address in Chorley Road, Burntwood.
A 71-year-old victim was taken from that address to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital with stab wounds and remains in a stable condition.
Witton, of St Michael's Road, Rugeley, was charged with attempted murder on Monday night and appeared at Burton Magistrates' Court today.
Magistrates remanded her in custody and she will appear at Stafford Crown Court on November 23.
A police investigation is continuing.
