Dog 'acting aggressively' in Oldbury seized after fears it would attack

A dog was seized by police following concerns that it would attack people in Oldbury.

Police say they received a ray dog believed a Rottweiler 'barking and acting aggressively'.

Officers arrived in Londonderry Road, in Langley Green, following the call from a member of the public at 9.30am yesterday.

West Midlands Police spokesman Brigg Ford said there had been fears it would attack people.

The force's dog unit arrived and seized the animal and it was taken to secure kennels.

Officers say they believed the dog may have escaped from a back garden.

Inquiries were ongoing.
