The six attended a brief hearing at the Magistrates' Court this morning, where their case was adjourned to be heard at the city's Crown Court on October 2.

Joseph Lister, aged 18, of Palmer Close, Wednesfield, is accused of wounding Mr Cruwys with intent to do him grievous bodily harm on March 7 this year.

Daniel Lloyd, aged 18, of Tillington Street, Stafford, Robert Beech, aged 18, of Springhill Road, Wednesfield, and Ryan Meer, aged 18, of Watling Street, Gailey, are charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Two youths, aged 14 and 15, who cannot be named, are charged with wounding with intent and grievous bodily harm with intent, respectively. Both are from Wolverhampton.

All six are on bail, and part of their conditions ban them from entering the city centre during match days at Molineux, and also from visiting cities where Wolves are playing an away match.

The 44-year-old father of two suffered serious head injuries and was left fighting for his life after he was brutally attacked in Little's Lane following the Wolves and Watford match at Molineux last season.
