But that is because the identical twins are both pounding the ground as special constables in the Black Country.

The 34-year-old brothers both operate in the Sandwell patch having worked as volunteers for more than five years.

They give several hours of their free time each month to help the fight against crime as part of the West Midlands Police special constabulary.

Harry, is the older of the two by 21 minutes and is a special sergeant in Smethwick, while Andy is in the same role in West Bromwich.

After Andy initially joined his brother amongst the volunteer ranks in 2010 they regularly patrolled together.

It would lead to amusement and confusion for both officers and criminals alike as they struggled to spot he difference. However, the committed pair are nowadays based on different teams, although they are both involved in trying to tackle anti-social behaviour across Sandwell. During their time with the force both brothers have helped identify, pursue and arrest dozens of criminals in their spare time.

This is despite the daily pressure of work with Andy an analyst for Birmingham City Council in his day job.

But dealing with anti-social behaviour is not something that comes alien to him. He was am Anti-Social Behaviour Officer before he joined up. He said: "As an ASB officer I lived and breathed community safety and justice."
