WATCH: CCTV shows blase bag thief
A man was caught on camera allegedly stealing valuable equipment from a works van outside a school.
A passport, an iPad and other personal items were stolen from the white Ford van outside Short Heath Junior School, in Pennine Way, in Willenhall on Tuesday.
CCTV footage shows a short haired man wearing a light blue t shirt and navy shorts open the unlocked Ford Transit van and take a bag containing the items.
It then showed him getting away.
Paul Day, the site manager overseeing the workers using the van, said: "It is our job to keep the site secure, I always tell them to make sure all vehicles are locked, but sometimes that doesn't happen.
"The items taken were very important and of a personal nature, things you don't expect to be taken from you while you are in the middle of a days work."
The theft took place around 1.50pm, anyone with information should contact the police on 101.
