Officers are looking for witnesses to the robbery at Barclays Bank after they were called by staff at just after 4.50pm today reporting three males had entered the bank and demanded cash.

Officers say no weapons were seen and none of the staff have been injured.

It is reported that the three men made off in the silver coloured hatch back car onto the A449.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to call the police immediately.

It is possible that the suspects will abandon their car and change into another vehicle soon after the incident so any reports of suspicious vehicles may help the police.

Anyone with any information is urged to call Staffordshire Police on 101 or 999 in an emergency. Police are currently responding and a full examination of the scene will take place.
