Two men were arrested following the discovery of the 1,337 plants at an industrial estate on Owen Road, West Midlands Police has confirmed.

The force's dedicated cannabis team found six purpose-built growing rooms at one of the units.

Each room was filled with plants and equipment to nurture the crop.

It follows a tip-off to police made on Wednesday.

The official street value for the property has not been announced yet by police, but a discovery of that size is likely to be worth close to or even over the £1million figure.

Police tweeted information about the discovery and pictures with the hashtag #monthstogrowminutestoseize.
