Police search West Midlands for man wanted over assault
Detectives in Staffordshire have joined in the search for a man wanted in relation to an assault on a woman, who they believe may be in the Perton area.
Michael Steven King, aged 26, is originally from Handsworth, Birmingham.
He is described as black, with short cropped hair and is of stocky build and around 5ft 7 inches tall.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 9 at a property in the Perton area.
Officers have conducted numerous visits to addresses associated with King in the Wolverhampton, Smethwick and Handsworth areas.
DS Ian Whitehouse from Staffordshire Police said: "Michael King knows that we want to speak to him and is deliberately avoiding contact. We believe that he is using friends and associates to help him travel around, although he is also known to use public transport.
"We are determined to locate and arrest him and we urge the public to help us and report any sightings."
