Their temporary residency in the centre came as part of a drive to showcase creative industries courses to shoppers and prospective students.

Walsall College community development officer, Jane de Weijer, said: "We are overwhelmed with the fantastic reaction we've had from the local community who have visited the store to admire the exhibition and meet our students.

"They have been impressed with the diverse range of art on display and the talents and professionalism of our students.

"Opening a pop-up store has been an innovative and exciting way to showcase our students and the college to the community. We will be looking to repeat this next year."
