It is believed the six were involved in violence that broke out as the two sets of fans left St Andrews on April 11.

Police are now hoping to trace the men and released images of the six as part of an appeal for information.

In total 15 people have now been spoken to as part of the investigation.

Police say previous appeals have resulted in people coming forward with 'vital information' which has helped the investigation.

Officers carried out warrants last month to arrest a number of people on suspicion of causing violence. Four people were arrested in a series of dawn raids at the end of April as part of the investigation.

PC Colin Barlow, from the football unit at West Midlands Police, said: "The response we've had to the appeals so far has resulted in vital information that has helped us track down some of the people involved. These images are of the final suspects we want to speak to in connection with this investigation. "We would ask anyone with information about who they might be to come forward and contact us on 101 as soon as possible."

Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555111.
