Penn Hall School, on Vicarage Road, is looking to get planning permission to build a 'flexible pod' for students, which will be used for learning activities and as a therapy space.

The school, which has 80 students from ages three to 19, has submitted a planning application to Wolverhampton City Council for the one-storey building.

A statement which accompanies the application reads: "Penn Hall School has identified a need for a flexible space where pupils can receive rebound therapy and take part in other group activities which are separate to the main school building.

"This flexible Pod will allow pupils to receive therapy and learn in a new, flexible, creative environment."
