Caught on CCTV: Man sought after Kidderminster post office attempted robbery

This is the man police would like to speak to after an attempted robbery at a post office in Kidderminster.

During the attempted robbery a person was seen to park a motorcycle outside the post office and wait for around five minutes before running into the shop and forcing a door open into the management office. The office was searched but nothing was taken.

The suspect waved a stick at bystanders before leaving on the motorcycle towards Stourport on Severn.

The CCTV images show a person dressed in an orange overall and a motorcycle helmet with a distinctive pattern.

The attempted robbery took place on Tuesday, April 28, at approximately 11.40am at the Birchen Coppice post office on Walter Nash Road West.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have seen the person pictured to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 208 of 28th April.
