Appeal after man suffers head injuries in Rugeley

An appeal has been launched after a man suffered head injuries in Rugeley.

It is not clear how the 21-year-old came by his injuries, and as a result Staffordshire Police have launched an appeal.

The man from Rugeley is believed to have been injured in Upper Brook Street, near Marmaris Pizza and opposite the Crown pub, between 11pm on Sunday, May 3, and 12am on Monday, May 4.

He was taken to Burton Queens Hospital by ambulance with a head injury, and was released a short-time later.

The injured man is described as white, aged 21, of slim build and is around 5ft 9ins tall. He wore a grey blazer over a white shirt and blue jeans.
