Walsall apartment bock set to get green light despite objections

A new apartment block is poised to be built in Bloxwich, despite concerns over congestion and the development being unsuitable.

A total of 16 one-bedroom flats have been earmarked for the old Wiggin House site in Buxton Road under new plans.

Objections have been lodged about the loss of privacy for neighbours, inappropriate location and a rise in traffic in the surrounding area.

However, members of Walsall Council's planning committee are being recommended to approve the supported living scheme tomorrow.
