Christopher Fisher had gone out for a ride after weeks of helping his wife prepare for her new business in Willenhall.

It was the first time in a while that the 33-year-old from Rutherford Road, Beechdale - who had a long-held interest with bikes - had been out on his bike.

He suffered multiple injuries following the accident with a car along the main A41 between Albrighton and Codsall last Tuesday.

Mr Fisher, who was a plasterer by trade, leaves behind daughter Sophie, aged 11, and two step-daughters Chelsea, 19, and Charlotte, 18.

His wife Sharon, who had been with Mr Fisher for 16 years, said: "He was fun, he was considerate and kind.

"Everyone is just traumatised, everyone is still in shock. He used to spoil me all the time and the girls.

"He was just out going, he was a joker. He was just the best in every way. He had a lot of friends."

Mr Fisher had spent a lot of time helping his wife, aged 40, set up Platinum Tan Boutique in St Anne's Road and had gone for a ride along with a friend on a separate bike.

"He was just going out for a ride, he hadn't done it for a while," she added. "He had just opened up a business for me, a sun bed shop.

"He had been working down there seven days a week for the last eight weeks. He was really proud of it."

Mr Fisher went out at around 4.30pm and was on his way back towards home when the tragedy happened.

An inquest into his death was opened by coroner John Ellery, for Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin. It was adjourned until July 28 this year.
