Around 600 plants were discovered at the building in Hereward Rise, Halesowen.

Other businesses using the same building have been affected after police cut the power.

Office workers were shocked to learn cannabis was being grown in their building.

One, who did not want to be named, said: "It's a complete shock. We haven't seen anybody.

"They didn't come for the cannabis, they came because there was a burglary. All the doors were smashed."

West Midlands Police confirmed the raid took place yesterday at 9am.

Investigations are continuing at the scene today.
