IN PICTURES: 35 firefighters tackle Wolverhampton factory blaze

More than 30 firefighters tackled a blaze at a derelict factory in Wolverhampton.

The roof of the building in Colliery Road, just off Willenhall Road, was completely destroyed during the blaze.

Crews were called at 3.40am this morning and called for more assistance to extinguish the large fire.

In total 35 firefighters attended and the blaze was quickly put out.

They prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings.

Crews remain at the scene today assessing the factory and an investigation is underway to determine the cause.

No injuries were reported.
