Black Country flag flying high in London as festival organisers scoop national award

Organisers of last year's successful Black Country Festival have won a national award.

They won the community engagement campaign of the year award at last night's PRmoments Awards 2015.

The award is given out to public and private sector projects.

The festival was organised by Dudley Council in partnership with the community.

Dudley Council chief executive Sarah Norman tweeted: "Well done to everyone who made it happen."

Plans for this year's festival are already in motion, with events due to take place in Dudley, Halesowen, Stourbridge, Gornal, Pensnett and Wall Heath in July.
