Walsall designer promises sharp-suited Saddlers team
Fashion designer Luke Roper has revealed he will suit Walsall's squad in a single breasted blazer and slim leg trousers for Wembley this month.
The Walsall-born tailor says the players will look sharp in their bespoke outfits.
Luke, aged 37, said: "It's an honour to dress the lads.
"The suits are have a single breasted tailored cut blazer with slim trousers, matched with a crisp white shirt with a formal cut-away collar, they will without doubt look really sharp for the occasion.
He added: "Walsall market was the place of my first job, back in 1989, ironically selling fashion fabrics of all things, it's great to give something back to the town and it's bringing back a few fond memories for me."
"There is a real feel good factor going around, the banter is great. Good luck boys."
Meanwhile, competition sponsor Johnstone's Paint is urging fans, businesses and schools to deck the town in red in support of the team on March 10 as part of a two-day trophy tour that will see them visit the best displays.
