Charlie Palmer left her home in Madeley, Telford on Thursday, and was seen at Wolverhampton train station at 2pm that day.

The 14-year-old is new to Telford and police believe she may have planned to travel to the Manchester or Nottingham areas where she has links.

The man pictured with Charlie is believed to be 19-year-old Caine Lynch from Manchester. Police would also like to speak to Caine because it is thought he could have information that may help officers locate Charlie.

Charlie is described as 5ft 3ins tall, of slim build with shoulder length black hair. She was last seen wearing green parka-type coat and navy leggings with black or navy trainers.

She also wears braces on her upper teeth.

Detective Inspector Mel Paley said: "We are growing more concerned for Charlie's welfare and would urge anyone with any information to contact us as soon as possible. We're also keen to speak to Caine Lynch and would urge him to contact us or for anyone who knows of his whereabouts to call us. We are following a number of lines of enquiry at the moment including in the Nottingham and Manchester areas where we know Charlie has links to."

Anyone with information should call the police on 101, the Missing Persons Charity on 116 000, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111/ www.crimestoppers-uk.org
