Kelly Mole said she and her family were now considering moving because the situation had got so bad.

They have taken to installing security cameras in a bid to catch the yobs who have struck five times at their Sedgley home since July.

CCTV images show a hooded man daubing paint on the family home. A van has also been covered in paint and windows at the house smashed.

Mrs Mole, aged 37, lives with husband Roger, 48, a builder, and their children Ben, six, and Jade, 13.

Since the attacks started last year, the family have spent hundreds of pounds repairing windows and cleaning the paint from Mr Mole's van. Dudley Council, who are responsible for the house in Greenway, confirmed they would remove the paint in the next week.

Mrs Mole said the family did not know why they were being singled out and could think of no reason behind the attacks.

"I have spoken to every single person I know and I am at a total loss as to why it's happened," she said.

"I just wish they had the guts to knock on my door and tell me what I and my family are supposed to have done. We have lived here for seven years and got on with everybody until one night last July Roger's van had paint poured over it.

"We put it down to local kids but a few weeks later our downstairs windows were smashed and more paint was splashed on the house.

"I'm frightened as they are getting braver. I keep thinking, 'what are they going to do next?'

I don't want to leave but it's got to the stage where I want to move because my nerves are terrible."

The CCTV images, captured at around 3.50am on February 6, show a hooded thug daubing black paint across the front of the house. The vandal stands back to admire his handiwork before running off.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "Unfortunately, the offender's face cannot be seen. He is described as six foot tall and of a medium to large build."
