Pedestrian suffers facial injuries after punched by occupants of passing car

A man was punched twice in the face suffering 'nasty' injuries by the occupants of a passing car.

The 43-year-old from Oldbury was walking in Stoney Lane, Smethwick, when a blue Ford Fiesta with an 02 or 04 registration pulled up alongside him and five men got out.

The driver of the car punched the man twice in the face causing nasty facial injuries.

The attack took place at around 3.30pm on Thursday, December 4.

Following the attack the man sought help from a local address when police were called.
