Jez Moxey, Wolves Chief Executive said: "In accordance with Sir Jack's final wishes he is having his funeral service in Wolverhampton, giving his family and loved ones, Wolves supporters, the City of Wolverhampton and his many, many friends and admirers the chance to say goodbye and to pay their respects.

"Although the Funeral Service itself at St Peter's Collegiate Church will be invitation only and will include Wolves fans via a ballot, we are planning a way for well-wishers and mourners to watch or listen to the service via an audio-visual link close to the Church.

"In addition, full details of the route of the Funeral Cortege will be published soon and we hope the timings will ensure that as many people as possible will be able to take time out from work over their lunch breaks to pay their respects.

"On behalf of Sir Jack's family, and the Club, I'd like to once again thank our supporters for the fantastic way they paid tribute to Sir Jack at Saturday's game versus Blackpool. "They were superb and they have provided great comfort and support to Sir Jack's family and loved ones at what is a very difficult time."
