Woman cut free after Stourbridge crash

A woman had to be cut free from her car after a crash in Stourbridge today.

She was taken to Russell's Hall Hospital in Dudley with suspected spinal injuries.

The smash involved a Vauxhall Astra and Nissan Juke and happened at the junction of Croftwood Road and Grange Lane at around 11am.

The injured driver had to be cut free from the Nissan by firefighters. A male passenger in the car was not injured.

The male driver of the Nissan was also not injured.

Police closed the road while recovery of the two cars took place.

Fire crews from Brierley Hill and Stourbridge attended the crash.
