Residents in Cheslyn Hay and Saredon are up in arms over a route which will take the M54 to M6 North/M6 Toll link close to their homes.

The Highways Agency is holding a two-month consultation into three route options.

Chairman Mike Boyle said: "Not enough work has been done on the effects of all options on the community of Cheslyn Hay."

The parish council organised today's meeting which will be held at the village hall in Pinfold Lane.

The public consultation into the scheme is due to end on January 30.
