Three Black Country men arrested in early morning armed police raids

Three men were arrested during early morning police raids by armed officers.

They swooped on homes in Grove Crescent, Pelsall, and in Birchfield Lane, Westmead Drive and Borough Crescent in Oldbury as part of an operation into a series of robberies and burglaries.

Three men, aged 22, 24 and 39, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and burglary. They have been bailed. Officers executed the warrants at 5.20am on Tuesday. Det Con James Ashcroft said: "The properties were searched after months of planning."
