Motorcyclist injured in crash on busy Wolverhampton road

A motorcyclist suffered leg injuries after they collided with a car on a busy Wolverhampton road.

The crash happened at around 4.45pm on A449 Penn Road outside of The Royal Wolverhampton School.

A man was injured in the smash but it is not thought to be life threatening.

West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman Claire Brown said: "An ambulance was sent to the scene at 4.46pm. A motorcyclist was in collision with a car on Penn Road. A male has suffered leg injuries."

West Midlands Police were also in attendance.
