M6 closed in both directions after person spotted on bridge
The M6 was closed in both directions this afternoon when a person was spotted on a bridge over the carriageway.

It was shut between Junction 10 for Walsall and 10a for the M54 at about 3.30pm for 10 minutes until police moved the person away.
Then further delays were caused when four cars crashed in the queues that had built up on the southbound side between Junction 12 for Gailey and 11a for the M6 Toll at about 4pm, blocking one lane.
