Caught on CCTV: Man sought by police after ripping £2k necklace from woman's neck and fleeing in stolen car

Police have released this CCTV image of a man who walked into a Netherton off licence and ripped a gold chain from around the neck of a woman working there, before fleeing in a stolen car.

He then ran out of the shop and got into the passenger side of a grey Seat Leon with two other men on board.

The car was later found burnt out in Weavers Rise, Netherton.

The man is described as being Asian, aged 20-30 years, 5ft5inches tall, stocky, with short hair and a goatee beard.

The robbery took place around 11am on Friday, September 5, at the '7 til late' Convenience Store in Bush Road, Netherton.
