Thanks to kind-hearted businesses in Weston-super-Mare the children, who were travelling from Bright Futures Children's Centre in West Bromwich, will be able to get a fun day out for free.

A coach carrying 53 people, including the 25 children from across the Black Country, careered off the M5 while on its way down to the Somerset town on August 19.

The children were brought back to West Bromwich without completing the trip.

But thanks to an appeal from Weston-based Plum Communications & PR, businesses in the town have pulled together and are now offering the children a VIP day trip to the seaside.

Jan Stoll, from Action for Children which organised the original trip, said: "Everyone at Action for Children would like to offer heartfelt thanks to all the organisations in Weston-super-Mare that have offered their support."
