Caught on camera: Man wanted after £5k damage caused at Wolverhampton firm

This is the man who police suspect of causing £5,000 worth of damage during a destructive break in Wolverhampton.

The burglars left a trail of destruction after forcing their way into Landywood Concrete on Neachells Lane, East Park.

The gang cut phone and CCTV wires and smashed alarms off the wall before ransacking the firm's offices and stealing the company's two safes.

The criminals even broke into the coffee machine to steal loose change from inside.

Police have trawled through hours film from security cameras in the area since the raid over night on April 26 into 27 but have been unsuccessfully trying to identify this man who was captured on one of the firm's cameras.

Acting sergeant Chris Stokes, from Wolverhampton Investigation Team, said: "He is someone we very much want to talk to in connection with the burglary at Landywood Concrete. The offenders caused significant damage to the premises and a number of items were stolen during the break in.

"I would urge anyone with information to contact us at Wolverhampton Central police station on 101 or speak to independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
