Major delays after M6 crash

A multi-vehicle crash involving a lorry, two cars and two vans is causing miles of tailbacks on the M6.

The smash happened southbound between junction 11a for the M6 Toll and junction 12 for Gailey at around 11am.

One man was taken to New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton suffering with chest injuries. No-one else was injured.

Police, ambulance and the fire service attended the scene.

Highways Agency spokeswoman Pragati Baddhan said: "There are currently delays of up to 30 minutes back to junction 13."
