Kurt Woolley left his home in Chuckery on July 30, telling his concerned family that was moving to the south west to start a new job.

They have not heard from the 19-year-old since, and police believe he has not got a new job.

Pc Gareth Bushell, from Walsall police, said: "Kurt had recently been on holiday to Somerset and told his family he'd managed to get a job while he was down there but it seems that may not be the case after all and now they don't know where he is.

"Kurt's family are very concerned for his welfare. They just want to know he is safe."

Mr Woolley is 6ft tall, slim, with short dark brown hair, a beard, brown eyes and West Midlands accent.

He wears an earring and a silver band on his wrist and he was last seen wearing blue skinny jeans, brown boots, a red and blue checked shirt and carrying a brown and green backpack.

Pc Bushell added: "There is nothing to say whether he did actually travel to the south west, as suggested, or whether this was fabrication and he is still in the local area.

"We urge people to look out for him and to call us with any information."

Anyone who may know of Kurt's whereabouts should call Walsall police by dialling 101.
