Sabeela Waid, aged 13, was last seen by relatives on July 29 when she left her home to go shopping in West Bromwich town centre.

Her worried parents reported her missing when she failed to return home and now police are urging Sabeela to make contact.

She is described as Asian around 5ft 3in tall and was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt, grey skinny jeans and navy blue hi-top trainers with white laces.

PC Helen Bailey, from West Bromwich police station, said: "Sabeela is not in any trouble but being only 13 we need to locate her and make sure she is safe and well.

"We believe that she may be in the Sparkhill or Ladywood area of Birmingham and we are urging people who may recognise Sabeela or know of her whereabouts to contact the police."

Anyone with information can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
