Her disappearance was reported to police on Friday night.

On Sunday police urged people out and about in the region to keep a look out for Cynthia and her car.

Cynthia's car

Police are appealing for help to find Cynthia's car - a silver Vauxhall Astra 1.6 registration number T419 MDA.

Detective Inspector Jim Munro, from Force CID, said: "We are growing concerned for Cynthia's welfare and from speaking to her family her disappearance is completely out of character.

"She is a very independent lady and she lives on her own, we are hoping that by tracing her car we will also find Cynthia."

Anyone with information on Cynthia's whereabouts or her car is asked to call police on 101.
