Overnight closures planned for M6 in Staffordshire
Part of the M6 through Staffordshire will be closed every night for a week while maintenance work is carried out, drivers were warned today.

The motorway will be closed in both directions between Cannock at junction 12 and Acton Trussell at junction 13 between 9pm and 6am each night from Sunday until April 13. It comes as drivers faced major delays earlier this week when a hole appeared in the northbound carriageway between junctions 12 and 13.
Drivers were today caught up in 10 minute delays when a pothole appeared on the southbound carriageway near junction 8 for the M5 at about 6.50am.
