A man will be summonsed to court after being spotted taking a shave while at the wheel as he steered through narrow-lane roadworks.
The man was seen between junction 4a for Bromsgrove and junction 5 for Droitwich at around 5pm today.
Officers from the Central Motorway Police Group followed him for three miles before it was safe to stop him. The 53-year-old man had been using an electric razor as he drove through narrow-lane roadworks.
Police said the man would be summonsed to court on a charge of careless driving.
