35 new jobs as new Wolverhampton Aldi to open
A new Aldi supermarket is opening at the site of a former discount store, creating 35 new jobs.

The booming supermarket chain will open its latest Wolverhampton store at the former Matalan Discount Club building, in Birmingham Road.
The supermarket will open on April 10.
A spokesman for the firm, said: "We are pleased to confirm that Aldi is opening a new store in Wolverhampton in April.
"We look forward to bringing added and much-needed retail choice to the area, as well as creating approximately 35 full and part time jobs for the local community."
The former Matalan Discount store is 20,000 sq ft but had been standing empty for several years after closing down.
