A woman was rescued by ambulance crews and bystanders after she fell from a boat into a stretch of canal near Stourbridge.
Paramedics were called to the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal at Stourton at around 11.40am.
The woman was in the water for around five minutes before being hauled to safety by friends, family and passers-by.
Specialist paramedics with the Hazardous Area Response Team arrived at the scene by Bridge 34 on the canal.
The Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford was sent to the scene and landed but was not needed as paramedics assessed her at the scene.
She was taken to Dudley’s Russells Hall Hospital for further treatment.
