Police have charged four people with managing a brothel following a major operation to find victims of human trafficking who have been forced into prostitution.
The man and three women were due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today.
Unemployed 21-year-old Claudiu Gheorghe of Botha Road faces one charge of managing a brothel.
Unemployed Romina Fana, 26, Michaela Jordache, a masseuse, also 26, and 24-year-old masseuse Maria Trasca, are additionally charged with money laundering following the operation.
All four were arrested at their home address on Botha Road in Bordesley Green as part of Operation Sentinel, a long-running campaign to protect the most vulnerable victims of crime.
