The victim died at the scene in The Parade, Dudley, on Friday night.
A man voluntarily attended Dudley police station over the weekend to speak to officers as part of the investigation.

The 35-year-old said: “He would always stop and say hello. He was always very polite. He was a well-known, well-liked guy.”
A neighbour, who did not wish to be named but said she went to school with Mr Smart, said: “He was one of those types of people who if you needed help, would always help you.”
The collision happened at 8.50pm on Friday. Witnesses can call 101.
