Teenager in court over Willenhall hammer attack
A teenager has appeared in court after a man suffered a suspected fractured skull in an alleged hammer attack.

Joe Hodson is accused of wounding John Birks. The attack is alleged to have taken place in Pinson Road, Willenhall, on Wednesday evening and the 19 year-old appeared at Walsall Magistrates Court yesterday.
The teenager, of Uplands Avenue, Willenhall, entered no plea and the case was committed to Wolverhampton Crown Court on December 2. He was remanded in custody.
