A five-year-old girl seriously hurt when she was hit by a van in Walsall remains in a critical condition in hospital.
The youngster was struck in Griffins Crescent in Rushall on August 27.
She was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital suffering from internal bleeding and other injuries, including a fractured arm.
The accident happened on a small estate, near to the junction with Cartbridge Lane South, at about 7.15pm.
It is believed the youngster was playing with friends in the street when she was struck by the vehicle.
Part of the road was cordoned off while paramedics and police worked at the scene.
