Nicola Robinson was today said to have been devoted to her two young daughters.

She died in the early hours of Sunday morning in a horror smash in Birmingham Road, near to its junction with Curzon Street.

The 31-year-old was returning home from a night out in Wolverhampton when the crash happened. Two men who were also in the car were taken to hospital.

Nicola's mother June Robinson, aged 51, today said the entire family had been left devastated by what had happened.

Speaking from her home in Coseley and surrounded by cards and floral tributes to Nicola, Ms Robinson said: "Nicola was bubbly, outgoing and would do anything for anybody.

"She adored her girls, she always put them first. She called the girls her princesses and she lived for them. She was really kind and would go out of her way to help anybody who needed it."

Nicola, who lived in Elizabeth Avenue in Bradley, leaves behind daughters Keira, aged 10, and seven-year-old Karys.

Known as Nikki, she had trained as a spa therapist and had set up her own mobile business.

Ms Robinson said: "She loved doing the spa treatments. She went to Wolverhampton College to train and was planning to go back to do her level three training. She always said it was the best thing she ever did."

The former High Arcal School pupil was described as a real girl's girl, who loved beauty treatments and liked to always look her best.

"She loved to get dressed up and loved her designers," said Ms Robinson.

"She would spend a lot of time with her younger sister and they would do beauty treatments together. Nikki always had a lot of friends and was very popular, they all used to call her beautiful."

Ms Robinson, who has two other children, added: "You just never imagine something like this will happen to your child.

"I've had so much support from my family and friends but everyone is devastated by what has happened."

The crash happened at the notorious accident blackspot in Birmingham Road at around 3.45am on Sunday morning.
